The news that Dead or Alive 5 is in production for the PS3 came from the magazine's "Rumor Machine" section, PlayStation LifeStyle reports, which follows up to a previous rumor that was reported a few months earlier.
PlayStation LifeStyle additionally boasted:
Although this reveal was in the “Rumour Machine” section of the magazine, going by the other listed “rumors”, Dead or Alive 5 is as good as confirmed. Almost all other “rumors” listed have either been announced or have been discussed recently.
While these latest tid-bits of information can be taken with a grain of salt and is not solid confirmation, let's keep in mind that the new (Itagaki-less) Team Ninja have been proudly gracing the PS3 with much support, pumping out titles like the Ninja Gaiden Sigma series and recently announcing that a new DoAX is on the way for the PSP, making anything possible.
Whether Dead or Alive 5 will be a multi-platform title, or an exclusive title to the PS3, is still unknown. That's a known fact.
