Match Scheduling
The DOACC will now feature an open-book schedule for league matches. This means that players are completely free to plan matches on their own with little restriction. Some notification of the match must be posted prior to the match, and results must be posted after in order to be recognized as an official match.
Players free to schedule matches on their own.
Any player can challenge any player as long as both agree to the match.
Specific match rules shall be agreed on by the players involved, unless the match is associated with a title with predetermined rules.
Streamed/Title Matches
Some matches can/will be streamed if a streamer is available and the match is planned in advance with the streamer.
All title matches will be streamed.
Eligibility for title matches will be determined according to the prestige of the title, and the rank of the challenging player(s).
Event Scheduling
The DOACC will now feature Events held at more or less a once a month basis. Events are intended to be a main showcase for the league, being a multi-hour block of streamed matches featuring multiple title matches, hyped-up challenge matches, big point ranked matches, mini-tournaments, etc. Specific details, list of matches, list of players featured are to be laid out in each Event's own thread.
Events will be held more or less once a month.
Event matches will be a mix of predetermined matches, challenge matches, title matches, mini-tournaments, etc., and will vary with each Event.
All Event matches will be streamed.
All Event matches will take place within a single multi-hour block planned in advance.
Events will feature between 5-8 matches total.
Events will feature 2-3 undercard, 1-2 mid-card, 1 co-main event, and 1 main event match.
Alternates will be planned for each Event match in the event of a no-show.
Tournament Scheduling
The DOACC will now feature tournaments of varying types for various rewards, points, and titles. The number of players to a tournament will vary according to the tournament. Tournaments can come up at any time and are not limited to a set schedule. Specific details to each tournament will be specified in the tournament's own thread.
Tournaments can be held at any time.
Tournaments can be Single-Elim, Double-Elim, Round-Robin, or Special** format.
Tournaments will give players the chance to compete for various points, titles, or special awards.
Any match featured in the tournament can be streamed, however, not every match is guaranteed to be streamed.
Streamed matches in a tournament shall have a +10 point bonus to its predetermined point value.
Tournaments will be run by authorized tournament hosts
** = Special format tournaments will have their particular rules detailed in their own thread
Rankings Structure

Championship Titles
DOAC Championship
United States Championship
Intercontinental Championship
Tag Team Championship
A tag team MUST consists of 2 players.
King of the Ring Championship
Special rules title. ALL matches take place on the DWA Coliseum stage (the ring).
Fight Club Championship
Special rules title. ALL matches take place on the Crash Club stage.
Hardcore Championship
Special rules title. NO STAGES BANNED. Players can change characters after wins as well as losses.
FTW Championship
Special rules title. Players restricted to use characters of Mid/Low tier placement. Accepted characters are . . .
Womens Championship
Special rules title. Only female players eligible to compete for title.
Survivor Series Championship
Team based title. Elimination style match format.
Each "team" must contain between 3-5 members. No restrictions to members of a team, as long as each member is NOT already a member of another team. If a team is scheduled against a team with fewer members, the team with the higher number will choose an equal number to the opposing team to represent them in the match.
The elimination style match format works as follows. Both teams decide who starts the match for their team. The loser of the starting match is then eliminated from the team match, and is replaced by another member of the team. The winner of the starting match can either stay on for the next match or "tag out" to another team member, still remaining available for later matches. The team match continues in this format until an entire team is eliminated.
Special Awards
Money in the Bank
1 guaranteed title match for ANY title of your choosing
Title match can be pre-planned in advance, or go down on sudden notice, at your choosing
You can select 1 of 3 choices of advantage for the title match:
1) Match Handicap: This will give you 1 free point in a FT3 match, 2 free points in a FT5 match, or 4 free points in a FT10 match.
2) Choose Match Rules: This will allow you to setup the match rules completely as you choose.
(character select rules left at standard)
3) Ban a Character: This will allow you to BAN the champion from using a character of your choosing for the entire match.
Of course, in order to cash-in for the match, the champion you want to face must be online at the time to be challenged, and I must be online to stream the match (so let me know if you are thinking about cashing in, and I'll let you know if I can be on to stream it).
If the match is pre-planned, and the champion does not show for the match, you will be recognized as *Interim* champion and a mandatory rematch will be scheduled later under the same rules. If the champion fails to show for the rematch, you will be recognized as the official champion.
Other Info
The DOACC is now open to ALL MEMBERS OF DOAC. No one is excluded, no signups required
Active participation, continuous interest shown in league, and potential hype of matches will increase players' chances of being booked into an Event match
Placement level of an Event match will vary according to player ranks and match hype
If a non-Event match has a player no-show, the match can be rescheduled
If an Event match has a player no-show, an available alternate will be placed in for the match
If a Title Event match has a player no-show, an available alternate will be placed in for the match
If the champ no-shows, an *Interim* champ will be crowned and will face the champ in a future mandatory streamed or Title Event match. If either player no-shows to the mandatory match, his/her title will be stripped.
Team Rules
Team Draft
Initial Team Captains will be determined by player rank/activity in DOACC
Initial Teams will be determined by the Team Captains drafting players from a draft pool
The draft pool will be comprised of a list of players who have declared interest in joining a team
A player who is not in the draft pool is not eligible to be drafted
The draft order will be determined by the rank of the Team Captains at the time of the draft, and will proceed in a serpentine format (1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 3, 2, 1, repeat)
The number of players each team is allowed to draft will be determined by the number of players who have entered the pool
After the draft has begun, the draft pool is closed, and players declaring interest in joining a team will be entered into a free agent pool which will be accessible to Team Captains a week after the draft has completed
Team Competition
After initial teams are determined, each player on the team will then earn points going toward their team total each week players compete in DOACC matches
The same points players earn individually will also be applied to their team total
Only the points earned from wins will be applied to the team total, losses will not take away from a team total
When a Survivor Series event comes around, the two teams with the highest point totals at the time of the event will compete for the Survivor Series title
After the Survivor Series title has been contested, team point totals will be reset to 0
The Survivor Series title will likely be contested 2 times each year
Team Free Agency
Players who were not drafted to a team but have declared interest in joining will be entered into a free agent pool
The free agent pool will be accessible to Team Captains starting a week after the draft has completed
With access to the free agent pool, a Team Captain can switch any team member with any free agent, but is limited to 1 switch per month
In the event of an open spot on a team (due to trade or player drop), a Team Captain can pick up a free agent at no cost of a switch
Team Trades
After initial teams are determined, Team Captains are free to negotiate trades with one another at their own will
Trades can be 1for1 deals, 2for1 deals, etc., and can include a team's free agent switch for a particular month
For a trade to be made official, both Team Captains involved in the deal must confirm the deal was agreed upon (by thread post or PM)

The champ has to be available to play in order to be challenged. You didn't see CM Punk cash-in his MitB contract when a champ wasn't in the building, did you? _________________ I hear voices in my head. They council me. They understand. They talk to me.

He's considered Mid tier.
But it's cool. His sheer coolness and the MASSIVE AWESOME in his veins makes him BROKEN to his many fans. Jann Lee defies tier lists. _________________ I hear voices in my head. They council me. They understand. They talk to me.

Isn't that FTW match a little unfair for other tiers?
BTW, Christie is bottom tier.
The point of the FTW Championship is to provide something for the players who stick to playing characters (FTW!) who are not Top/High tier. Such as Christie . . . who is eligible all the same. _________________ I hear voices in my head. They council me. They understand. They talk to me.

No. . . she isn't.
And what's the difference between this Undercard/ Mid-Card/ Co-Main/ Main Event stuff? Is this meant to distinguish superstars from freakshows like me? _________________ DOAWorld.com. Where I Belong. . . http://www.facebook.com/awesmic

She is. But you don't have to play for the title if you don't want to, Awesmic.

Those are all just a part of the Events I'm planning to setup here. It pretty much represents the order of the match card for each Event and places higher value on big-ticket matches.
Think about how a WWE event or PPV is booked. You'll likely see a guy like Edge in the main event, and a guy like Shelton Benjamin mid-card. _________________ I hear voices in my head. They council me. They understand. They talk to me.

I'm impressed by how well thought out this league is becoming. It certainly would be nice to play DOA again for at least a good reason. _________________ It matters not who you are or what manner of power you may possess. I'm pretty excited about the Survivor Series and the whole points system. Should be fun as I've never participated in that many tournaments ^_^ _________________ aiuR - "Shall I bring a little grace to the party?"
Well it seems like the league is back in business (hopefully). I'm in of course. That FTW Championship is a little effed up though GO lol. It's koo though, guess I'll just have to start using Jannlee a bit more now. _________________ TB - "The Little Ninja That Could"
