Loved it. If you guys remember right, doa moves VERY SLOW in the story also. Can't wait for the next one. Was a little sad about a lack of Ayane.

I'm loving the series so far. I never know what to expect. I want to se less ninjas, more Rachel and weapon fights, and more DOA fighters.
Tifa fighting with the staff was awesome, and I liked the train part. And yes, Hayate got owned by Hitomi.

Well, Monty Oum likes to concentrate on choreography. So that's his huge focus.
And he might not want to do the story wrong so as not to disappoint anyone. Anything with a simple story, people tend to bash. Not everybody likes complicated stories like Blazblue's (which I personally like), and not every game/video has a story (look at KOF dream match games or Left 4 Dead). People still like those even without considering their stories (if any).
Just sit back, watch, and enjoy. Hell, you enjoy KOF 12; you don't need to be entertained with a story.

MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN They made Hayate dope as fuck in that. Like he was too dope to even lower himself by fighting tifa. He let his ninjas do that shit. But killin tifa? I mean, i can understand putting aeris in this shit and killin her off agasin. that shit'd be cool. But killin tifa?! You just don't kill characters. She's probably gonna come back through the epsilon project as some dope as super being of l33tn3zz or some shit though.
On another note Tifa had all that materia except for the one that mattered: Cure 3. Fuck the bullshit with all the mp usage of attacks. Just conserve all your mp, fight it out normally, and when you get weak, cure 3.
Cure 3 is the shit.
