Wow.Doesn't anybody else visit the Leon CS boards?

Anyway, in my limited experience (which is experience nonetheless), Gen-Fu is a very hard match up when fighting as Leon. He has a very quick jab and mid punch. His high crush beats out Leon's Rising kick (it has happened to me a few times). And he has QUICK attacks. Basically, IMO, the worst character matchups for leon are Gen-Fu and Kasumi for the same reasons as Gen-Fu. Before you can even start an attack, players like Gen-Fu, and Kasumi will start one of their own.

Leon is supposed to be a pressure fighter (with all those varied strings, 2in1's on CH and mid/low/throw setups). But how do I find an opening to start the pressure against these characters?
Usually I space and whiff punish with patience against these type of characters. And, since jabs are used often by these characters, I use his Down forward Down forward Punch to high crush them when I can ( I only use Down Back Punch when I know it will counter hit, and Down Punch for the jab trap once I gain the upper hand on my opponet to continue the pressure).

But, is there another, perhaps more effective way to start the attack with Leon against Gen-Fu and/or Kasumi?

Those are really the only characters I have trouble fighting. If I had to choose three more though, I would say: Christie (quick but unsafe enough for Leon to capitalize on her and begin attacking), Hayate (because a good one won't let you breathe and will know how to space properly, but sometimes makes mistakes for Leon to take advantage of), and Hitomi (simply punch parry to neutralize majority of Leon's mixup strings).

Whatever tier she may be, Hitomi still manages to give out a load of trouble against players like Leon and Spartan.

Lol that rhymes. Also, if I'm completely wrong about everything I just said, don't hesitate to tell me what I am doing wrong, and what I should be doing.

EDIT: Actually, after playing against a solid Kasumi, I would have to say she is much harder than any of the other characters (besides Gen-Fu of course).
